New annexes for ground beef, weasand meat, head meat, small intestines and composite food with porcine gelatin (Annexes D-5, D-6, D-7, D-8 and J-1) have been introduced. Mexico will accept the old version of these annexes (i.e. Annex D, D-1, D-2, D-3, I-1, I-2 and J) until December 5, 2016.

Annexes for beef meat, beef offal, beef viscera, beef trimmings, heat-treated meat-product containing beef, pork and/or poultry, dry-cured beef and pork products and composite product with bovine gelatin have been amended and are effective as of October 5, 2016.  Mexico will accept these new annexes for beef, beef products and beef by-products from animals slaughtered on October 5, 2016 and afterwards.

These annexes are now available in the electronic certification system (E-cert).
