CFIA Seeks Feedback on Risk Management Options for Giant Reed

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is seeking your feedback on risk management options for Arundo donax (giant reed).

The CFIA has completed a Pest Risk Management Document (RMD) which examines the risk associated with the importation, cultivation and trade of Arundo donax (giant reed) in Canada. The document (RMD-16-02) can be found on the CFIA website.

As your input is important to us, we encourage you to review the RMD and provide your comments prior to March 10, 2017.
