CBP Mandates Use of ACE Filing as of July 23

U.S. Customs and Border Protection deployed and mandated in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) trade processing capabilities for filing the remaining cargo entry transactions, and specifically, for cargo associated with quota requirements. In addition, system validations were deployed to automatically reject cargo entry transactions sent to the legacy Automated Commercial System (ACS).  Starting July 23 all electronic cargo entries and corresponding entry summaries are now required to be filed in ACE and can no longer be filed in ACS.
