Softwood Lumber – Instructions for requesting an administrative review are now available

To customs brokers representing softwood lumber companies, we would be grateful for onward transmission of this notice to your clients.

Please note that Global Affairs Canada has finalized template letters and instructions for interested companies. These may be used for filing their second administrative review request(s). 

You will find the template letters and associated instructions on our dedicated softwood lumber Frequently Asked Questions webpage at: http://www.international.gc.ca/controls-controles/softwood-bois_oeuvre/other-autres/faq.aspx?lang=eng. Please be sure to read through the Frequently Asked Questions section before taking any action. Note that this page is regularly updated. 

Companies should print and retain a copy of the confirmation of filing on ACCESS and must serve a copy of the request on the petitioner (COALITION). Companies that are not already registered on ACCESS may file their ACCESS registration, maintain a copy of the registration receipt and complete the template letters so they are ready to be filed when possible.
