1. The purpose of this notice is to inform importers and exporters that the sanctions under the Regulations Implementing the United Nations Resolutions on Iran (Iran UN Regulations) were amended on February 5, 2016.

Turkey and Turkey Products (Items 105 to 113 on the Import Control List) 2016 TRQ: Quantities Available for Allocation

For the 2016 allocation year, a balance of 300,634 kg, eviscerated equivalent (ee), of the turkey and turkey products tariff rate quota (TRQ) remains available for allocation.

Update to the Meat Hygiene Manual of Procedures Chapter 11, Philippines

To meet labelling requirements for the Philippines, the label for all frozen meat must include an expiry date (best before date).

Also at the request of the operator, the signing veterinarian should issue a letter with expiry date (best before date) information for in-transit shipments.
