Amended certificates for the export of fish and seafood to the United Kingdom

Please note that the United Kingdom (UK) has amended its certificates for the export of fish and seafood products for human consumption. The new model certificates do not represent any change to UK import requirements, but the format of the streamlined certificates differs from the current certificate templates.

The new certificate referenced below can be used immediately.

  • OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE FOR THE PLACING ON THE MARKET OF FISHERY PRODUCTS (FP) GBHC401 v1.1 Aug-23 (CFIA/ACIA FA1033)
  • HEALTH CERTIFICATE FOR LIVE BIVALVE MOLLUSCS, ECHINODERMS, TUNICATES AND MARINE GASTROPODS (LBM) GBHC400 v1.1 Aug-23 (CFIA/ACIA FA1034)

The UK will accept the previous version of certificates signed on or before April 29, 2024.

Exporters who participate in the Partially Completed Certificates Protocol are reminded to contact their local CFIA office in order to obtain the new certificate templates for use on or after the implementation date.

Exporters are encouraged to review the United Kingdom (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales) – Export requirements for fish and seafood webpage to obtain up-to-date information prior to the export of products to the United Kingdom.

Certificats modifiés pour l’exportation de poissons et fruits de mer vers le Royaume-Uni

Veuillez noter que le Royaume-Uni (RU) a modifié ses certificats pour l’exportation de poissons et de produits de la mer destinés à la consommation humaine. Les nouveaux modèles de certificats ne représentent aucun changement dans les exigences d’importation du RU, mais le format simplifié des certificats diffère des modèles de certificats actuels.

Le nouveau certificat référencé ci-dessous peut être utilisé immédiatement.

  • CERTIFICATS SANITAIRES POUR MOLLUSQUES BIVALVES, ÉCHINODERMES, TUNICIERS ET GASTÉROPODES MARINS VIVANTS (MBV) GBHC400 v1.1 Aug-23 (CFIA/ACIA FA1034)

Le RU acceptera la version précédente des certificats qui ont été signés au plus tard le 29 avril 2024.

On rappelle aux exportateurs qui participent au protocole de certificat partiellement rempli de communiquer avec leur bureau local de l’ACIA et d’obtenir les nouveaux modèles de certificat à utiliser à partir de la date de mise en œuvre.

Les exportateurs sont encouragés à consulter la page Web du Royaume-Uni (Angleterre, Irlande du Nord, Écosse et le pays de Galles) – Exigences d'exportation pour le poisson et les produits de la mer afin d’obtenir des informations à jour avant l’exportation de leurs produits vers le Royaume-Uni.
