Almost all sectors saw increase in exports with metal and non-metallic minerals leading with a gain of 13.1%. The largest decline was in Energy exports which fell 10.3%, as prices fell 12.3% in December. 
 
Export growth to the United States was up just 0.6% while exports to the rest of the world grew by 4.5%, led by exports to the UK (+46%) due to shipments of precious metals.
