Export of Meat to China

China’s General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China (AQSIQ) has notified the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) that it has validated and approved the list of 16 cold storage facility for the export of meat products from Canada to China.

These facilities were approved by the Department for Registration Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA) on August 5, 2016.

Effective on September 8, 2016, the CFIA can start signing certificates for products originating from the newly approved establishments.
