Fish and Seafood Export Requirements for Taiwan

Please be advised that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has updated the export requirements for fish and seafood products exported to Taiwan.

For shellfish products destined for Taiwan, information on harvest area must now be included on the Sanitary Certificate (CFIA/ACIA 5431). This requirement currently applies only to bivalve shellfish products such as oyster, clams, scallops, mussels, etc.

These changes were effective May 12, 2017.
