Update to the Meat Hygiene Manual of Procedures – China

China requires that the beef exported from Canada to China must be produced under the Canadian Beta-Agonist Free Beef Certification Program developed by the Canadian beef industry.
The section 11.7.3.2.2 on China has been amended with this information in the Electronic Certification System (E-cert).

The Canadian Beta-Agonist Free Beef Certification Program is available in Annex V of Introduction of Chapter 11 in e-cert, and will be added to the CFIA website in the coming days.

Please share this program with the operators of beef establishments eligible to export to China.
