Aluminum Extrusions, Expiry No. LE-2018-008
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal hereby gives notice, pursuant to subsection 76.03(3) of the Special Import Measures Act(SIMA), that its order made on March 17, 2014, in Expiry Review No. RR‑2013‑003, continuing, without amendment, its findings made on March 17, 2009, in Inquiry No. NQ-2008-003, as amended by its determination made on February 10, 2011, in Inquiry No. NQ‑2008‑003R, concerning the dumping and subsidizing of aluminum extrusions produced via an extrusion process of alloys having metallic elements falling within the alloy designations published by The Aluminum Association commencing with 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 or 7 (or proprietary or other certifying body equivalents), with the finish being as extruded (mill), mechanical, anodized or painted or otherwise coated, whether or not worked, having a wall thickness greater than 0.5 mm, with a maximum weight per metre of 22 kg and a profile or cross-section which fits within a circle having a diameter of 254 mm, excluding the products described in Appendix 1, originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China, is scheduled to expire on March 16, 2019, unless the Tribunal has initiated an expiry review.
Interested firms, organizations, persons or governments wishing to make submissions on whether an expiry review is warranted must file a notice of participation with the Tribunal on or before February 4, 2019. Each counsel who intends to represent a party in these proceedings must also file a notice of representation, as well as a declaration and undertaking, with the Tribunal on or before February 4, 2019. The Tribunal will distribute the list of participants on February 5, 2019. The deadline for filing submissions is February 12, 2019. If there are opposing views, each party may file a response no later than February 21, 2019. ...
