CBSA Message (TCC15-136) - 2016 Classification and Tariff Code Files

Further to Customs Notice CN15-037 pertaining to the January 1, 2016 Version of the Departmental Consolidation of the Customs Tariff  http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/cn-ad/cn15-037-eng.html, please be advised that the 2016 classification file updates and 2015 classification files expiries as well as the 2016 tariff file updates in CADEX format are now available on the CBSA website at:
http://cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/trade-commerce/tariff-tarif/2016/menu-eng.html .

Given that this will be a large update, the classification and tariff code flags have been turned off until January 4, 2016. 

Importers and brokers seeking to update their systems with the new Customs Tariff classification information should download the files from the CBSA website.
