Refuse entry for live Perna canaliculus (New Zealand Green lipped mussel) from New Zealand as a result of Disease Outbreak

The CFIA has recently been notified of a detection of Perkinsus olseni (a reportable disease in Canada) in New Zealand in a new susceptible species of molluscs, Perna canaliculus (New Zealand Green lipped mussel).
As a result of this disease detection, the CFIA will be changing the release recommendation to Refuse Entry for the following HS-OGD Codes.
