Consultations on the renegotiation and modernization of NAFTA
On June 3, 2017, the Government of Canada launched public consultations on the renegotiation and modernization of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Public consultations are an important step toward the renegotiations process. The views gathered from Canadians will inform the federal government’s approach as we engage with the United States and Mexico.
We welcome the opportunity to engage with you and to receive your views, and we encourage you to participate and make a submission by visiting the NAFTA Consultations Webpage. The Canada Gazette notice can be found here.
Do not hesitate to be in contact should you wish to further discuss your interests, priorities and concerns about these consultations.
