In March, despite Canadian borders remaining open for goods, both imports and exports decreased notably, as the impact of measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 in Canada became evident. With a full month of physical distancing policies in place in April, merchandise trade values are expected to decrease more severely next month.

Exportation of dairy products for human consumption to Japan | Exportation de produits laitiers pour consommation humaine vers le Japon

Please note that Japan has amended the export certificate for dairy products for human consumption. The changes are minor, however, Japan requires that shipments arriving on or after June 1, 2020 must be accompanied by the new certificate.
