On August 22, 2016, numerous new commodity codes under Chapter 62 (Articles of Apparel and Clothing Accessories, Not Knitted or Crocheted) in the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) became effective for exports to the U.S. The new codes have now been added to the Export Import Controls System (EICS).
