New President of Canada Border Services Agency
The CSCB welcomes the new President of the Canada Border Services Agency, Ms. Linda Lizotte-MacPherson and looks forward to working with her. Congratulations! We also wish the departing President, Mr. Luc Portelance, well on his future endevours. The CSCB Board of Directors had the pleasure of participating in Mr. Portelance's retirement celebrations on June 17th.
Importing horses from the United States
Canadians are reminded to check Canada's import requirements before arriving at the border with their horses. Import requirements are in place to protect human and animal health and may change at any time in response to an animal disease outbreak in another country. Failure to meet import requirements could result in delays at the border, or denial of entry.
