Testing requirements for corn intended for livestock feed imported from India

Effective immediately, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) will be detaining all incoming shipments of corn imported from India, including organic corn, intended for use as livestock feed until it has been tested for aflatoxins. This is to prevent contamination of livestock feed in order to protect Canadian livestock and public health.

CFIA Message: Meat Product Exports to the USA

This memorandum is to inform you of the update of annexes in section 11.7.3 USA in Chapter 11 of the Manual of Procedures (MOP) to reference the export certificate for meat products to the USA (CFIA/ACIA 5733) that was implemented on February 16, 2015.
Please replace Annexes B, A-5, A-6, A-7, A-10 and A-11 in section 11.7.3 USA in Chapter 11 of your MOP with the updated annexes.
