Notice to Industry CFIA Centre of Administration
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has created a Centre of Administration to centralize and consolidate the administration of domestic and import-related permissions (licences, permits and registrations). The Centre of Administration opened for business on April 1st, 2014.
Customs Tariff Update – T2014-1
Chapter 89 of the tariff has been amended to make changes to tariff subheading 8905.20. These changes are a result of changes in the 2014 budget to eliminate the 20% MFN rate of duty on imported Mobile Offshore Drilling Units.
