CFIA Message: Beef export to Singapore
Effective July 19, 2017, Singapore has revised the Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) related import conditions for beef import from Canada to allow deboned beef cuts from cattle of all ages and bone in beef cuts from cattle under 30 months of age.
The Veterinary Certificate for Export of Beef to Singapore (Annex F) has been updated in the Meat Export Electronic Certification system (E-cert) and a copy can be obtained from the local CFIA inspection staff. The export requirements for export of beef to Singapore have been updated in electronic certification (E-cert) system.
As a transition period, Singapore authorities will accept both versions (new and old) of the certificate (Annex F) until October 19, 2017.
