April 8: COVID-19 CBSA Commercial & Trade Update - Clarification

Further to April 8th COVID-19 Commercial & Trade update, the CSCB has asked for a clarification of how customs brokers should obtain confirmation from the local office prior to sending documents by email.  

CBSA response: “The customs broker can submit this confirmation request to the port specific email address contained in the bulletin. The subject line would be REQUEST-CONFIRMATION TO EMAIL ELECTRONIC LONGROOM”.
