Please be advised that effective July 18, 2022, Brazil has recognized Canada's zoning approach for live poultry and hatching eggs. Imports are not allowed for products originating or transiting through Primary Control Zones established by CFIA in affected provinces. For any questions please follow usual CFIA communication pathways.

The Import Control System 2 (ICS2), the European Union Advance Cargo Information System launched on 15 March 2021. The next phase of the ICS2 system - Release 2 - will go live on 1 March 2023.
Amendments to the Export Permits Regulations
The Export Permits Regulations (the Regulations) establish requirements on the information that permit applicants must provide as part of the export permit application process, and the procedures governing the issuance and use of exports permits for “Strategic and Military Goods and Technology” and “Certain Forest Products” listed on the Export Control List.
