Update to the Meat Hygiene Manual of Procedures, Chapter 11 – Mexico

Please be advised that export requirements under sections 11.7.3.2.2 & 11.7.3.4.2.6 – Mexico of the Chapter 11 of the Meat Hygiene Manual of Procedures (MHMP), have been updated with the following information:

Additional sanctions on individuals and entities for activities related to Russia and Ukraine

In order to maintain the efficacy of existing sanctions until Russia fully complies with its international obligations with respect to Ukraine, the Special Economic Measures (Russia) Regulations have been amended to list 10 additional entities and two additional individuals in Schedule 1 that are subject to an asset freeze and dealings prohibition.

Export of poultry products to Vietnam

Please be advised that the certification requirements for export of poultry products to Vietnam in 'Annex B' of Chapter 11 have been updated as of March 14, 2016. Effective immediately, please use the new Annex B for export of the stated product to Vietnam available through the CFIA inspection staff.
