CBSA Message: MRAs with the Customs Administrations of Israel and Australia

In July 2017, in Brussels Belgium, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) signed bilateral Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MRA) with the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) and the Israel Tax Authority (ITA) regarding our respective Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) programs; Partners in Protection (PIP) in Canada.

New Commercial Payments and Accounts Website

Consultations on the renegotiation and modernization of NAFTA

On June 3, 2017, the Government of Canada launched public consultations on the renegotiation and modernization of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Public consultations are an important step toward the renegotiations process. The views gathered from Canadians will inform the federal government’s approach as we engage with the United States and Mexico.
