Export of pork meat and pork products to Albania
Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has been informed by the Albanian authorities that pork meat and pork products exported to Albania must be derived from animals raised under Canadian Ractopamine-Free Pork Certification Program (CRFPCP).
This requirement is effective immediately.

CFIA: Numbering Format Change for UK Approved Meat Establishments
Please be advised that the United Kingdom (UK) is changing the numbering format of their registered meat establishments eligible to export to Canada. The UK's competent authority has indicated that the changeover to new establishment number format will be completed in six months starting August 31, 2019.
