Business Barometer: Small business confidence sees small increase in November

Small business optimism moved up slightly in November, but has remained within a narrow horizontal track since this past April. CFIB's Business Barometer Index now stands at 59.4, up less than 2 points over October's 57.7.

The 2017 Customs Tariff information has been posted on the CBSA website this morning, including the applicable Customs Notice.
RIV Fee Increase

Transport Canada has advised the CSCB that the RIV fee for vehicles imported into Canada from the U.S. and for vehicles imported for parts will be increasing. Effective January 1, 2017 the Registrar of Imported Vehicles fee will increase to $295 per vehicle and $90 for vehicle parts.
