Following is an update from CN on network operations in Western Canada in relation to the wildfires in the Lytton, BC area.
All intermodal and carload traffic northbound and eastbound from Vancouver, as well as traffic inbound to Vancouver from east/north of Kamloops continues to be affected by this situation.
Hundreds of rail cars have been halted by wildfires that damaged tracks in western Canada during the region’s severe heat wave, creating a bottleneck of exports and delaying imports.

Canada Revenue Agency has released the following publication:
About 200 fires are currently burning across the province of British Columbia on Canada’s Pacific coast. Two-thirds of the fires are classified as out of control.
