Ministers Fast and Ritz Deeply Disappointed with U.S. Decision to Appeal Ruling on COOL

The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade, and the Honourable Gerry Ritz, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, issued the following statement on the decision by the U.S. to appeal the WTO compliance panel’s latest decision on the U.S. Country of Origin Labelling (COOL) policy:

“Canada is deeply disappointed with the U.S. decision to appeal the WTO ruling on COOL.
