Canada has approved and activated an Official Meat Inspection Certificate (OMIC) for poultry from Ukraine.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has been informed by India that as of January 1st, 2023, they will be implementing new import requirements for fish and seafood from Canada to India. Canada will be negotiating with India the food safety requirements included on the certificate for the export of fish and seafood in the coming weeks.
