CFIA has updated the Mexico requirements for fish and their products

Please be advised that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has updated the Mexico requirements for fish and their products. A master certificate is required for all fish exported to Mexico.

These changes are effective immediately.

Canada and the United States have made progress... on a dispute over Canadian lumber exports "but we are not there yet", Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland said ....

Freeland, speaking to reporters on a conference call, also said the United States should treat Canada with respect, given that Canada is a major supplier of softwood.

Update to Export Requirements for Poultry Products and Prepared Meat Product Containing Poultry Meat to Singapore

Please be advised that there are new certification requirements for the export of poultry meat and poultry meat products to Singapore. As of December 1, 2016, Annex B "Veterinary Certificate for Poultry Meat Products Destined to Singapore" must be issued during periods of Avian Influenza (AI) freedom in Canada.
