COVID-19: CBSA resumes border services at small airports across Canada

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has been gradually resuming border services at airports still affected by the temporary measures put in place as a result of COVID-19. Today, the CBSA will resume services at the following 55 airports:

Vancouver port defers truck age ban program to April 3, 2023

The Port of Vancouver will defer implementation of the Rolling Truck Age Program by a final six months to April 3, 2023, according to a letter issued by the port authority on Sept. 3.

The program banning container-hauling trucks with model years older than 2006 in a bid to control emissions was expected to go into effect on Sept. 15.

On July 6, 2022, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) published amendments to the Food and Drug Regulations and the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations related to the Food Product Innovation initiative.

This is a reminder that the CFIA is hosting webinars to provide an overview of the food labelling changes to industry and other stakeholders.
